With the advent of lead free soldering, it has become paramount to ensure that the constitution of the material in the flow solder is closely monitored in terms of restricted substances. As an example, the level of lead present in the solder bath must not rise above 1000ppm, and our engineering team carry out monthly analytical checks to ensure this doesn't occur. As an extra safeguard, Statistical Process Control, including alarms, is on-going. These alarm levels trigger corrective action well before there is any chance that process quality can be compromised.
